MIRACLE ON 72ND ST.
Typically, holiday parties at 72 have nothing to do with anything related to the holidays. They tend to keep it super big picture, and pick a theme that just lends itself to a good time. For this party, however, we thought- what if we lean into holiday more than anyone has ever leaned into holiday ever?? And so was born…
MIRACLE ON 72ND STREET
Experiential Designer + Production Coordinator
We decided to take everyone to “New York” for one magical night. We rented Paramount Studio’s New York Backlot, a whole three blocks of empty New York storefronts, and created our very own version of Christmas in New York.

When you entered the street, a roasting cart of chestnuts welcomed you to take a stroll. Street performers lined each corner, a newspaper stand turned into a bar greeted you with a specialty cocktail.
Every storefront was a real place to explore. An arcade complete with a fresh slice of za’… a bakery that served up spiked hot chocolate and all kinds of sweets… a house party full of board games and mulled cider…
…all you had to do was take a look around.
“The piano bar was my favorite part - whiskey tastings and an old timey singer crooning new tunes in an old style, I stayed there all night. ”

In addition to the lure of wandering into different store fronts, the streets were alive with smaller bespoke experiences to encounter. Loose tarot cards in the street lead to a tarot reader at the bottom of the subway steps…carolers sang on the corner… a solo saxophonist whines down the streets…
So many small moments to discover.
Hidden surprises like TRIVIA TAXI were extra fun. When you jumped in the taxi- lights would go off inside! A game show host would challenge you and your car mates to a riveting game of trivia.

“All of a sudden we heard marching drums... like, what!? A f*cking parade?! Fake snow!? I’ve never felt so complete. ”
